Medior/Senior Business Analyst (M/F) - Process & Data Analysis
Job description
Ableneo is looking for a Medior / Senior Business Analyst (M/F) to join our consulting team and work on projects focused on business and process analysis, operational efficiency, and data-driven improvement.
In this role, you will combine analytical thinking, process expertise, and hands-on data analysis to help our clients understand their operations, identify inefficiencies, and make better business decisions. You will work closely with client stakeholders, analyse real operational processes, and translate your findings into actionable recommendations.
Our projects may take place directly at client sites, including manufacturing and industrial environments. Therefore, flexibility to travel to client locations as required by project needs is an important part of this role.
What you will do:
Analyse business processes and operational data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
Map current-state (AS-IS) processes and design future-state (TO-BE) workflows.
Conduct workload, productivity, capacity, process time, and cost analyses.
Perform root-cause and Pareto analyses to identify the underlying causes of operational issues.
Collect, integrate, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Develop analytical models, KPIs, reports, and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and other analytical tools.
Use SQL and data visualisation techniques to identify patterns and support data-driven decision-making.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into improvement initiatives.
Present findings and recommendations to clients and decision-makers.
Identify opportunities for process optimisation, Lean initiatives, digital transformation, and AI-driven automation.
Travel to client sites when needed to understand operational processes and support project delivery.
Requirements
Proven experience in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a similar analytical role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex processes and identify root causes.
Experience with process mapping, workload and productivity analysis, process optimisation, or continuous improvement.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI and SQL is highly valued.
Experience working with data from multiple sources, including data validation, reporting, and KPI development.
Ability to translate analytical findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with stakeholders at different organisational levels.
Structured, proactive, and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Slovak – C1 or native; English – B2 or higher.
Willingness and flexibility to travel to client locations as required by project needs.
Nice to have:
Experience in manufacturing, automotive, logistics, supply chain, or other operational environments.
Knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
Experience with process time and costing models, capacity planning, or resource optimisation.
Familiarity with MTM or other industrial engineering methods.
Experience with AI tools, workflow automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
