About the project
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic initiative within a major banking institution. The project focuses on the analysis of internal back-office processes to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and process optimization. This role is a key part of the bank’s broader digital transformation program, aimed at improving operational efficiency and leveraging emerging technologies.
Key responsibilities
Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of the process analysis project, from planning through execution and reporting.
Coordinate with business stakeholders, process owners, and technology teams to map and document existing back-office workflows.
Oversee the collection, validation, and structuring of process data to serve as a foundation for AI automation opportunities.
Work closely with data scientists, AI specialists, and process analysts to ensure that analysis outcomes are actionable and aligned with business priorities.
Drive regular status reporting, risk management, and issue resolution, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to gather insights and promote collaboration.
Ensure compliance with internal governance, data protection, and regulatory requirements relevant to the banking environment.

Requirements
Requirements
Proven experience as a Project Manager in banking, financial services, or large corporate environments.
Strong understanding of banking back-office operations, such as payments, settlements, reconciliations, or client data management.
Experience with process analysis, business transformation, or automation (RPA/AI) projects is highly desirable.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and navigate complex stakeholder structures.
Fluent in Czech/Slovak and English (spoken and written).
Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile PM is a plus.
