Business Analyst
Job description
Key Responsibilities
Capture, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from internal stakeholders.
Map existing (“as-is”) processes, identify inefficiencies, and support the definition of improved (“to-be”) processes.
Prepare clear documentation, specifications, and user stories for development teams.
Collaborate with IT teams, UX designers, and compliance experts to translate business needs into implementable solutions.
Support customer journey mapping and contribute to the improvement of customer experience (CX).
Participate in workshops and working sessions with business users and partners.
Support testing activities (test case preparation, UAT coordination, validation of business logic).
Maintain up-to-date process and requirements documentation to support knowledge management.
Stay informed about AI and automation trends in financial services and contribute ideas for potential use cases (e.g., OCR, chatbots, automated scoring).
Qualifications & Experience
2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services, banking, or leasing.
Solid understanding of leasing products and processes (contract lifecycle, invoicing, insurance handling) is a strong advantage.
Experience with process mapping and requirements gathering techniques (BPMN, UML is an advantage).
Familiarity with agile delivery methods (Scrum, Kanban).
Exposure to digital projects (e-signature, workflow automation, omni-channel platforms) is an advantage.
Awareness of AI/automation concepts and willingness to learn how they can enhance digital processes.
Awareness of customer journey design and digital CX concepts.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to bridge business and IT teams.
Fluency in Slovak and English.
