Senior AI Python Software Engineer

Job description & Requirements

We are looking for a Senior AI Python engineer who can own complex back-end systems, architect scalable solutions, and mentor teammates while keeping an eye on long-term technical excellence.

What you will bring:

  • Proven expertise in Python back-end engineering, designing robust and maintainable systems.

  • Strong mastery of the software development lifecycle (GitLab, Jira, CI/CD, code reviews).

  • Solid grasp of OOP and SOLID principles, with the ability to enforce clean coding standards.

  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining API libraries (FastAPI or similar).

  • Proficiency with relational (SQL) and/or NoSQL databases, plus practical use of vector databases (Elastic, Azure AI Search, etc.).

  • A leadership mindset: mentoring junior developers, guiding design discussions, and influencing technical direction.

  • Minimally 8 years of experience as a software engineer.

Nice to have:

  • Applied ML/NLP knowledge (building and integrating models, not just theory).

  • Experience with prompt engineering and LLM-powered applications.

  • Cloud fluency (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

  • Kubernetes and container orchestration know-how.

  • A DevOps culture mindset (automation, monitoring, CI/CD optimization).
