About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager to join our growing company. This role focuses on managing and developing strategic accounts within the manufacturing sector (not only), while actively driving new business opportunities and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate combines strong relationship management skills with a proactive sales mindset and a deep understanding of industrial/manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
Manage and develop a portfolio of key manufacturing clients
Build long-term strategic partnerships with decision-makers and stakeholders
Understand clients’ production processes, challenges, and business objectives
Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
Sales & Business Development
Proactively identify and acquire new clients within the manufacturing industry (not only)
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions
Prepare and present tailored proposals and solutions
Monitor market trends and competitor activities
Strategic & Operational Activities
Collaborate closely with technical, operations, and leadership teams
Forecast sales performance and manage pipeline reporting
Participate in industry events, trade fairs, and client meetings
Contribute to pricing strategy and commercial planning
Requirements
Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, or Business Development Manager
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial environments is a huge advantage
Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to build C-level relationships
Analytical mindset with strong business acumen
Fluency in Slovak and English
